HIIT and HICT
High intensity interval training alternates periods of more demanding exercise, with less intense rest periods, and a goal of getting the heart rate to 80% of its maximum.
High intensity circuit training incorporates various stations to target different muscle groups. Each station can be timed, or require a certain number of reps. Both HIIT and HICT will likely include a cardio exercise.
boxing

weight loss and toning
All training styles are incorporated for weight loss, and toning the muscles. The common misconception is that the best way to lose weight is by doing a lot of cardio exercises.
